Privacy information

This page explains in plain language how MyCommercialManager handles information. It should be professionally reviewed as the service, user base and integrations develop.

Information you provide

We process account details, reviewer details, company and project information, rates, Daily Records, notes, photographs, location metadata and documents that users choose to enter or upload.

How information is used

Information is used to provide and secure the service, deliver review requests and receipts, respond to enquiries, maintain audit history and investigate technical or security issues.

Cloud service providers

Third-party cloud, authentication, hosting, storage and email services process information so the application can operate. Their processing may occur in different locations according to their service arrangements.

Your project data

You retain ownership of the project information you upload. Users remain responsible for ensuring they have authority to upload personal, commercial and project information and to nominate external reviewers.

Photo time and location

Where a user permits location capture, the service may store the device location and accuracy available at upload. Capture time, upload time and device location are supporting metadata and are not represented as conclusive proof.

Voice input

Voice recognition depends on the user’s browser, device and permissions. Browser or device providers may process audio to provide speech recognition. Users can always type instead.

Security and retention

Technical controls are used to protect the service, including account authentication, private storage and company-level access policies. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Information may be retained while an account is active and as reasonably needed for backups, security and legal obligations.
